My journey into skincare began with my mother, a lady who has never skipped their skincare routines and has an amazing complexion. She was the one that set an example for me and when I decided to make it a priority I already had a good guide. I started taking my skincare routine more seriously in 2016 and found myself stumbling with it. After reading and informing myself of proper skincare it then led me down the rabbit hole of skincare exploration, particularly inspired by the essence of Korean beauty—one of the foundational principles of Isel Beauty. I still struggled a bit since my skin is sensitive and I kept falling into the same issue.... Therefore I took this as a sign to make my own.

My adventure into formulating/creating skincare started in 2020, while I was working at a pharmaceutical company. Although I was content, I felt a strong desire to venture into something different. My curiosity led me to discover that makeup and skincare fall under FDA regulations—an area where I already had expertise in quality and compliance.

Despite searching for opportunities in Puerto Rico, I couldn’t find the right fit. I then took a leap and got myself certified in natural cosmetic formulation. With a background in Microbiology and a year in pharmaceuticals, I absorbed the knowledge quickly, therefore I was able to gain my certification quickly. Fast forward three years filled with formulating, testing, and countless attempts, I’m thrilled to have our first two products, first of many...
